Free Bulky Waste for Paston & Walton Residents

After months of hard work and planning, Cllr Alex Rafiq is pleased to announce that the Paston & Walton Free Bulky Waste Collection has been officially confirmed!

On Saturday 8th March 2025, residents will have the opportunity to dispose of bulky waste free of charge at two convenient locations in Paston and Walton.

The details for the event are as follows:

Paston:

  • Location: Chadburn Centre Car Park, PE4 7DH
  • Time: 10am-12pm

Walton:

  • Location: Rear of Warwick Road Superstore/Chilli Sizzler, PE4 6DE
  • Time: 12pm-2pm

Cllr Rafiq will be present at both locations alongside the Aragon team to ensure the event runs smoothly. This initiative is a huge opportunity for the community to take part in a spring clean and de-clutter their homes.

The project has been months in the making, with Cllr Rafiq working tirelessly to arrange and finalise the details. He encourages everyone to take full advantage of this free service.

In addition to encouraging local residents to attend, Cllr Rafiq is urging the community to help those who may struggle to get to the collection points, such as elderly or ill residents, or those without transport.

A special thanks goes to the Chadburn Centre Management and Cross Keys Homes for allowing the use of these locations for the collection event.

Please note that there are some prohibited items for disposal, so residents should check the list of items before bringing them to the collection.

Cllr Rafiq looks forward to seeing everyone there and helping to keep Paston and Walton a clean, vibrant community.
