A new community hub has officially opened in Millfield, giving local residents a welcoming place to access advice, raise concerns and connect with local support services.
Councillors Asim Mahmood and Javed Akhtar were joined by Mayor Paul Bristow to officially open the new premises at 12B Searjeant Street, Peterborough.
The hub will provide a local point of contact for residents, offering an opportunity to discuss issues affecting the community and find out more about the support available locally.
Councillor Asim Mahmood said:
“It was fantastic to officially open our new community hub and to see it ready to welcome residents. We want this to be a place where people feel comfortable coming to us with concerns, questions or simply to find out what support is available.”
The hub is now open and residents are encouraged to visit and find out more about the services and support available.
