Peterborough is buzzing with family-friendly fun this summer, and Mayor Paul Bristow is leading by example. Recently, Paul took time out of his busy schedule to enjoy the "Shaun the Sheep: Find the Flock" trail, spending quality time with his daughter in Queensgate Shopping Centre.
The "Find the Flock" trail features 12 larger-than-life, artist-designed Shaun the Sheep sculptures scattered across Peterborough city centre. Starting at Queensgate Shopping Centre and ending at the beautiful Peterborough Cathedral, each sculpture stands 160cm tall and showcases unique designs from artists around the world.
Families can pick up a trail map at Queensgate or the Cathedral and embark on a fun-filled adventure to find all the Shauns. Once completed, participants can claim a Shaun the Sheep sticker and enter a prize draw for a chance to win exciting rewards.
In addition to the trail, the event offers other engaging activities:
- Fun with the Flock A.R. Trail: Download the app for £3 and discover hidden markers around the city, unlocking animated scenes and challenges.
- Farmathlon Live!: Participate in wacky farmyard sports at Peterborough Cathedral’s Cloisters on select dates.
- Vegetable Orchestra: Enjoy quirky musical performances using real vegetables at Queensgate Shopping Centre on two Saturdays in August.
The "Shaun the Sheep: Find the Flock" trail runs until 31st August 2025, providing plenty of time for families to explore and enjoy the city. It's a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, support local businesses, and experience the creativity and vibrancy that Peterborough has to offer.
