Cllr Steve Allen celebrating Green Flag Award at Manor Farm, Eye

Manor Farm Park in Eye has once again been recognised as one of the best green spaces in the country, receiving the prestigious Green Flag Award for another year.

The Green Flag Award is a national benchmark for well-managed parks and green spaces, ensuring they meet the highest standards for safety, cleanliness and community value.

Local councillor for Eye, Thorney and Newborough, Cllr Steve Allen, attended Manor Farm Community Centre to join the celebrations and show support for this achievement, which reflects the hard work of the local community and council teams in maintaining the park to such a high standard.

β€œIt was uplifting to attend Manor Farm Community Centre - Eye Village this afternoon to support the announcement of another year's Green Flag award for Manor Farm Park. This is testament to the commitment and hard work put in by the volunteers and our Aragon groundwork staff.”
– Cllr Steve Allen

Manor Farm Park is a well-loved green space for residents and families in Eye, providing a place to walk, exercise and enjoy nature close to home. This award recognises the dedication of local volunteers and Aragon groundwork staff, who work throughout the year to ensure the park remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Peterborough Conservatives are committed to supporting and protecting local green spaces, ensuring our communities have places where residents can relax, play and spend time with family and friends.

We would like to thank everyone who continues to help maintain Manor Farm Park and are proud to see this valued community space receive the national recognition it deserves.
