Councillor Alex Rafiq has been busy out in the Paston and Walton ward, tackling local issues and ensuring residents’ concerns are being addressed.
During a recent visit:
- Fulbridge Road (opposite Hadley Road): Overgrown bushes were reported as intruding onto the public footpath.
- Churchfield Court (rear of 67 Montagu Road): Years of trimmings, fly-tipping, and dumped items including play equipment, trolleys, and mattresses, along with severe overgrowth, were reported to the council and for further investigation as to whether the landowner has planning permission. The area needs clearing as soon as possible.
Councillor Rafiq said:
“It’s important to keep our streets safe, accessible and clean for everyone. I’ll continue to report and follow up on issues in the ward to make sure residents’ concerns are addressed promptly.”
Residents are encouraged to continue reporting local issues so Councillor Rafiq and the council can act quickly to maintain a clean and safe community.
