Concerns Over Manor Drive Footpath

Residents of Manor Drive and the surrounding area in Gunthorpe Ward have been waiting for the promised footpath connection between Arkwright Way and Brooker Avenue, which is vital for improving accessibility and safety in the community.

Andrew Macfarlaine, Action Team Leader for Gunthorpe and South Werrington, has written to Keepmoat on behalf of local residents to raise their concerns and seek an update on the delivery of the footpath. In his letter, he highlighted the importance of the connection and shared photographs and relevant planning documents to support the request.

Andrew said:

“The footpath issue has been raised with me multiple times by residents. It’s important that their voices are heard and that progress is made so that the community can benefit from improved accessibility and safety.”

Residents are eager to see progress, and the team looks forward to a response from Keepmoat confirming when the footpath will be completed.
