North Ward is a great ward and I have had the pleasure of living here, near the Fulbridge Academy, for 30 years. I know the local streets well and understand the issues and concerns we face. I have been going around the community, street by street, door by door, surveying residents about their thoughts on the local area. If I have not been to talk to you yet then please get in touch with your views, so I know what matters most to you.
On these surveys you have told me you want ‘someone friendly and approachable’ to represent you in the Town Hall. I care about the ward as much as you do. You care about the area that our children grow up in, about the schools they go to, the parks they play in. All of my children were raised here and attended Fulbridge School (Academy). They now serve the community as local doctors.
You have told me you want the pot holes to be repaired quicker, action to be taken against litter and fly-tipping and taxes to stay low. I am pushing for a fair share of the additional investment to tackle problem potholes in North Ward and I want to see stricter fines against those responsible for blighting our community with litter and waste.
This is a great place to live and, coming from a long line of decorated veterans who served in the Armed Forces, I would be honoured to serve the residents of North Ward in the Town Hall if elected on Thursday 2nd May.
Yours sincerely
